New busa owner

I just moved up from a katana 750 to a busa, this bike is unreal, i love it, however i have a stupid question, i bought this 2006 busa and i cant find the idle adjustment, i looked in the manuel and it doesnt give a good enough description where its at, My question is do i have to take off farings to get to it, and if so what side. My idle rpm is around 950 and it's close to stalling out (it feels like), the idle should be around 1050-2050 rpm. On my katana the adjustment was within reach on the left side. I've only have 300 miles on it and i wanted to take care of it quick instead of waiting for the 600 mile checkup. If anyone could help, i'd sure appreciate it. Thanks    k.c

You don't need to pull off the plastics. Just remove the front tank screws and seat. Then prop up the tank with the prop located under the rear cowl. You can see the adjuster on the right side (as you are sitting on the bike).

After you warm the bike up does it ever stall out during rides? My idle at start up is 1k and it is ok.

+1-the adjuster is just a little knob under the right side of the tank. Can't miss t. Doesn't take much of a turn to adjust the idle up. Good luck.

Sit on the bike with your feet flat on the ground. Look down at your right knee. See that round rubber plug in the frame? if you remve the plug and look through the hole with a flashlight, I'll bet you can see the idle screw

That's not the idles screw. It's the screw to remove the throttle body assembly. Don't turn it unless you're ready to take the TB's off the bike!

The idle screw is under the tank and under the throttle bodies under the right side of the tank. As mentioned above!
