New Busa Owner

Bought me 99 turbo busa last week. Guy was tuning it on his dyno when i came it pick it up it was set at 15lbs of boost....he was droping it to 7...problem was he coudln't get it to come down he had the gate all the way open....the temp was around 50 degree's we used 2 diff boost gauges to check and see if its the same and it was still 15 anyone help?

Why turn it down? Just use less throttle.

High boost = needs high octane fuel if i ran low boost 93 octane be fine.

What turbo kit is it? Does it have an internal or an external waste gate? If you're sure the gate was all the way open you may need to port the housing.
