new fee for canadians entering the US

All I know is I am building a new house in NC, it's cool and affordable.

In the same hood in Canada, it would cost North of $5 mill and now way I could even afford the driveway, never mind the house.

Maybe it's all the $5's they collected that makes things easier here?

I read that the american president wants to start a service fee for Canadians who come into the u.s. It will not apply to private vehicles. Just commercial ones. Now its a small amount of $5.50 but it doesn't matter. After coming to the states on vacation and spending my money in that country which helps other economies and keeps some people employed. After dealing with border and custom guards with their god complexes. Do i want to spend anymore money there? Just puts up a good arguement for why I think Cuba and Mexico might be my next vacation spots.

my rant was more to do with your president trying to find away to dig himself out of the financial mess he and bush has put your country in. now they figure 16 million Canucks come in a year so that works out to about $241000.00 a day in extra revenue, with your national debt climbing at 4 billion a day, your doomed!!!

I went to Canada in 2005, it was $.25 to walk and $1.25 to drive back into the US. Last year when I flew there, had to pay $25 to get on my flight at the Toranto Air Port.

My old man served 24 years. my brother did 8 years and his kid is still in! bad mouth my country and you will get no respect!
