Hi and welcome from BC, how much two up riding are you planning, I have the same Corbin rear on my bike with some removable soft bags, the wife seems to be comfortable back there and I hardly know shes there.

My wife has her own bike, so I don't do a lot of two up riding, but the back rest is nice to have when I have my daughters on the back. My biggest fear with my old K4-1000 was losing someone off the back.

Nice. and losing someone off the back was always a concern for me as well, before I had the backrest I hit a bump on a gravel driveway that gave the throttle a little blip, that's all it takes to wake up your passenger and resulted in a slap to the back of my helmet. lol
