New from mi.

Bikes back together. I'm prepping all the fairings and painting this weekend. Should be together and running next weekend.

Hah people tell me I'm crazy. I reply "I know". Originally I planned to get a 600 because my dad used to have one and I really like it but I figured what the hell might as well get the head honch of sport bikes...

lol...tell me about it... I'm from India and I rode max like 250cc there...and if you donno, its a pretty crowded country..so max speed I rode might be 90kmph (like 75 mph) ... and then my first sports bike over here in US and it was a Busa... i knew Im not going for anything other than Busa...dream bike man...i donno how i even passed the license test :P i was so apprehensive tilting and turning the bike...but now im pretty comfortable (not as much as some of you are though)...so far 125mph max :( hopefully someday 185 (limiter in place) ... unless I spend all my money on speeding tickets :P

AND TO OP ... :welcome: :)

Lol. This is an awesome site! So much help. I got the nose, trunk and tail on today along with the tank and fired the bike for the first time. Runs like a dream! Although I'm still going to flush the brake and clutch fluid because it's pretty nasty. I also flushed and filled the cooling system and the bike runs at perfect temp. All I really need to do is change the oil and make some minor adjustments and I'll be on the road. As for pics... I decided not to paint the frame because I didn't want to remove the vin tag or mask it off. Although I did spray the swing arm black. The fairings are white but I'm contemplating going to flat black because white just shows too much dirt and easily scuffed. Good thing is I only have the base coat on with no clear yet.

Oh yeah? I was just cruisin telegraph Friday. I know a couple 1000s and R6s that like to ride to, perhaps you can join us. Keep an eye out at Gardner White by Ecorse, a lot of sport bikes flock there on the weekend.
