New HarborFreight Motorcycle Dolly

I was looking for an easier way to move a 480lb bike around in my garage. I read the HarborFreight thread and came across this:

Cost was $99 and very simple to assemble/install.
I think later down the road, I'll modify the front with a clamp so the bike sits upright. But, in the meantime this will suffice!

I'd be careful with the tire clamp and having the bike sit straight up. I would think that it would be more likely to fall over...unless you rigged some sort of "outrigger". The base looks too narrow. Just a thought.

Yeah, I thought of that. It's really solid the way it sits now, it's just that I'm a welder/fabricator and I can't seem to leave anything alone without modding it:laugh:

Harbor Freight has some nice inexpensive tools...they have some neat socket tools which come in handy. Of course, everything comes from China.

how easy is it to roll the bike on it? does it move around while your are loading the bike on it?

It's very easy to roll around. The wheels are good quality, the metal 3/16"-1/4" thick, C-channel style steel, and it has levers which make mounting the bike simple. It doesn't move, slip or anything...push the bike onto the dolly, lift the brake levers and move it anywhere you want, given you have a smooth surface and lock the levers down again. Simple.

Never saw one of those before. Great way to park/store the bike in a cramped garage. I'll have to look into one!

 Cool, seen that before.
Been thinking about getting one for my Zuky Intruder. Poor Intruder hasn't been riden since I got the 'Busa.

Could you please take a pic of the locking mechanism and how it works?
I looked at those and it just appeared to be a fold down ramp, and I figured the bike could scoot out from under when you tried to roll it on.
Thanks!
