I'm super happy with my Scorpion head bucket. It has all the top-end features: no-fog shield (although I ride all year long in Seattle - yes, lots of rain - and I put a Fog City liner on it this winter), all pads are removable and wicking, lots of vents, DOT/SNELL, and pretty quiet with the option chin guard... all this for around $200.

I need to update my prior statement: 1) I still dig my Scorpion helmet; 2) but it's NOT a great high speed option. I just got back from a 1,000+ mile ride where we did several runs at 120+... at 140 and beyond my head starts to really shake; frankly, I think the shaking is a good thing because it causes me to realize that death is near and I should slow down... but if you don't fear death or serious injury then you'll want a different helmet with better high-speed aerodynamics.
