Great choice in color and a heartly welcome aboard!!
I also had a GSX-R1000 "K7" and as far as comfort for the longer rides, no comparison, the busa is the hands down winner there. Be careful in the twisties, the bus can be a handful, especially when you're used to effortlessly flicking around on the gixxer!

17 bikes in 5 years Nasty? Wow....you must cram alot of riding in your short season's up there. I noticed that you didn't keep any of them very long. Hope the busa sticks around for awhile....er....have your tried a ZX 14 yet?
Our season up here is fairly short and so is life that is why I try to experience owning and riding as many different bikes that interest me.
As far as the 14 goes I think it is Fugly, so that is not one you will ever see me owning.
