i installed a muzzy system a little while ago on my bike and had the same clearance problem with the oil line. i just muscled it with a long 3/8 rachet extension. you dont need much.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess it's a matter of getting the right leverage to bend it - I'll give it a try this week sometime.
