See a lot of those in Europe. A member from Germany or Holland posted pix of a big meet and every bike had them.

I got the gold bars on my 08 Busa, The ID of the bars are like 14mm
No good bar ends fit, and sure can not get the stock bar ends to fit back on,

???......... What are the advantages of this bar?
It would def take awhile for that 2 grow on me.

the advantage is the riding positoin if perfect for long trips. i was a little worried about how it would handle in the twisties but it felt perfect with turning in hard taking very little force. im only 5ft6 so stock was not for me.

how much more rise etc, do those have than a set of Heli bars?

With the mounting plate riser mayby an inch higher but its how they make the bar come back tward u that makes all the diff. it keeps your center of gravity still very balanced but alows my spine to rest easyer.(was impresed).Specs for bars are on thier web site for better info then i can give.

I am also having trouble with bar ends but im close too haveing someone make me a set i think. good luck

Definately looks more comfortable. I'm just not feeling it visually. Did you have to get longer cables? Any problem with cables "pulling"?

I love them! Mine are in the mail to me right now (from CloudNine Motorsports). Mine are going on my naked Busa Superbyke....thank you for posting the pics and info...the Speigler web site sucks for seeing how they look.
I don't have the 14mm bar end issue since I'm installing Oberon bar end mirrors that also are bar end weights (killing two birds with one stone). A suggestion....one could take the OEM mirrors off, put Vortex mirror eliminator plates on (as I do on track days with my faired Busa) THEN go to the bar end mirrors-they are high quality German pieces with good optics. Just a suggestion. Raydog

Those wide bars will help counter steer considerably. Longer trips should be a breeze. My only problem with it is that the look isn't for me. I agree it would be less tiring but I've done 750 in a day running to Barber Motorsports Park from Ohio, I just twist my throttlemeister and occassionally one hand it. I just think a sport bike shopuld look like one but every onwer makes his or her bike individual so I'm honestly not raining on your parade. If it works for you and you like it that's really all that counts. Wardie
