I do not know of anyone that has had to cut out the windshield to clear the bars, Even with the larger Suzuki touring shield the bars hit but at the very end of the turn lock to lock.....

I meant some people did cut out their windscreen due to bar clearance and yours is not.

Oh I see that my screen guard for my radiator is in the back ground of the last picture, I am not sure if I have to pull the body work to install the screen
I got it from 58 cycle place, A couple of weeks ago a GSXR 1000 and a ZX 14
had holes in there radiators from some of the gravel that has been put on the roads,,,, Screen guard insurance,,,,,

I got the gold bars on my 08 Busa, The ID of the bars are like 14mm
No good bar ends fit, and sure can not get the stock bar ends to fit back on,

I have those bars on two bikes. I took a nut of the right size rounded off the edges inserted it into the bar and had a friend weld them into the end of the bar. Then just used the stock bar end. On the second set I used a longer bolt put a piece of rubber hose over it like fuel hose a small washer with a lock washer and a nut pushed it into the bar and tightened it. the welded set up works better but the one works good also.
