New to busa with some problems

get the throttle bodies synced sorry :)

Oh ok got it...

when you remove the rear tire the sprocket is held on by a hub....behind that hub are some rubber triangular shaped pieces...these are known as cush drives. If they are the original they need to be replaced....this is probably your thud noise on acceleration. easiest way to tell is to grab the hub with the sprocket and try to twist it, while it is off the bike.....if it has any movement it is shot./

Ok i will see what my shop does to fix the sound and i'll inspect it when i go collect my bike... Thank you ;)

anytime buddy! welcome to the family...check your wallet at the door for your own sake

And also does anyone have the 07 service manual? i am trying to find it online but either the link is dead or the website is down etc.

it's ok guys i found it and in case someone needs it here you go: Suzuki GSX Owners Manuals

One things i am confused is.. it says 1999-2007. so it's the same manual for 99-07 models?

It covers most of the bike, Fuel, and electronics change thru the years, as well as the starter system there are supplements to the original manual, but are had to find!

Hi everyone , just an update. i got the bike back from the shop. They said they had checked everything and made sure all is fine. The leaking in the headcam , they told me it's just old stains , i checked it after riding it for hours and yes seems like there is no leaks and it does indeed look like a stain. The front brakes/rotor (i think) was changed and the chains and sprockets were changed too.

Almost everything seems fine accept today regarding the rev(got the bike back on Thursday)... i had the problem to rev the rpm to go over 7k-8k. on the day i got the bike back after all the repairs , i tried to rev to bike and it went easily to the red zone. Today a kawasaki zx10 raced with me(i was actually just testing out the bike to see if there were any other issues with the bike when i overtook him at 150km, which was why he started to race with me ) and i wasn't able to go above 220km. I had a hard time catching up with the kawasaki and only was able to reach 230km.

I started to doubt why i wasn't even able to get near the kawasaki zx10 . Even my previous k6 1000 could touch 230km more easily than my busa... so i went to a lone road and tried to rev the bike and i wasn't able to rev it over 8k. i stared to smoke and tried again after 15 mins and it was able to rev over the red zone. so i'm confused now. how come earlier it was not able to rev over 8k and after letting the bike cool down.. it was able to rev to the red zone?

Anyone knows what could be the problem? i'm going back to my shop tomorrow to ask them to double check my bike again and if i have a rough idea what could be wrong would help me..
