That is cool... i usually try to get out every other weekend for a good ride. I ride to work and back everyday too. I only logged about 8000mi this year though. Lot's of OT and tweaking of bikes all summer long. Want to get back up around 15,000mi this next year. I just love to ride man. Thinking of getting a heated body suit actually!!!

I use the bike as my primary source of transportation 9 months out of the year. Only logged about 2k miles this year though. Broken arm took me out for 3 months
 
yea, i use mine for the same, if it's not pouring down rain or lightning, I'm on 2 wheelz. Broken bones suck!! Shattered my ankle 9 yrs ago and it laid me up all summer. And i had a bad crash at the strip in late 92, broke lot's of bones, physical therapy for 2 yrs afterwards.Dumb a_s Doc tried to tell me that I would not be able to ride "crotch rockets" ever again... yea right, I got a new Doc... Then my 1st "new" bike was a turbocharged 1540cc KZ car tire bike that ran 8.10 in the 1/4mi. !!!

LOL my doc told me that my sportbike is the best style to ride because of posture. That was 3 months after my spinal fusion.

We usually try to do a couple long trips during the summer months. Last June we did a 1300 mile weekend. Not sure about doing that again this year, since I'm flying to MA to ride w/ BrendanP
