The BUSA is ALWAYS the FASTER bike...... Don't you know that????
LOLThe BUSA is a much more aerodynamic bike and with 165 more HP, the BUSA wins by a land slide. I have only gone 215 mph (on GPS not speedo) on the BUSA and the 1000 has much more than enough power to go faster than that, but there are other factors to consider.
1. 1000 is stock ride height and length, BUSA is lowered front & raked & rear +6" over swingarm.
2. 1000 has stock front suspension, BUSA is Raked 4.5 degrees (which also lowers front end 1.5" and legthens bike 1.5").
3. Aerodynamics and center of gravity of the BUSA is far superior to that of the 1000 for high speed and high speed stability.
The BUSA feels the same at 215 MPH as the 1000 feels at 140 MPH, it's just a far more stable bike at speeds exceeding 150 mph. The 1000 feels very unstable at about 190-195 MPH, nothing like the Cadillac ride the BUSA gives at the same speed. I know the guys on the GSXR1000 board would argue with me, THEY HAVE......LOL But I own both, the 1000 just doesn't keep up with the BUSA after 150 mph, period.
Plus, I am only 5'8", I can tuck right in on the BUSA and no air touches me, on the 1000 I am in the wind no matter where I sit.

Joey you have two terrors by Suzuki right there that you have taken a lot of pride in. I'm sure they can get up and move. Welcome to the org...we'll be looking forward to more updates on your Busa

Actually that is my ex-fiance. She was a model, been in 3 music videos, and totally F%&@*^G NUTS!!!! All the pics I kept of her r nudes, can't post those........LOL Don't worry, summer is coming, wait until you see some of the models I have lined up!!!!! 
Now it's official since another MA member (was gonna say something else, but don't wanna be banned!!) has said hi. Lots of great peeps here.
