New to the Busa family

Welcome! And ditto to what Double D & LCB said. Don't let anyone pressure you into getting a bike you aren't comfortable with. If you're comfortable, you'll ride more...I know from personal experience.

Oh, and get gear the day you get your bike, or even before. Not just a helmet, but jacket, gloves, the works.

I would have to agree with HRHDi, especially on the gear.

Just make sure you learn the bike and get used to it. Don't ever get brave on it and you'll be fine.

Oh... and I have heard that when you take the MSF course... never, ever tell the instructor that you have a BUSA as your first bike.

Welcome to the oRg! We got ladies on bikes with attitude! You'll fit right in. Angel has a heart of gold and I know he will try to point you in the right direction. Pics are always welcome!

Welcome to the org. Please don't let anyone discourage you about buying what you want and is most comfortable for you. Remember; buy nothing but the best and you'll never be disappointed.

It was the middle of the winter when I bought my Busa so I waited a month until I took delivery and spent countless hous here during that month to learn as much as I could. I still spend too many hours on here daily but I just can't get enough. Welcome and learn.

Ahhh....I feel like I'm part of the family already with brothers and sisters jabbing each other and looking out for me.

Angel aka "Lycan" does have a heart of gold.  His name fits him well.  And he's right, I already took the MSF course so I'm overdue to get a bike before summer is over.
So funny about not telling the instructor that my 1st bike will be a Busa because he already was teasing me for being a "speed demon."  That's because I failed the first time on the test, and re-took it the following week with a perfect score.

  YAY!

I will post pictures.  Just as soon as I find a couple good ones.
Thanks for the advice y'all.

Hey, I agree with the other young ladies. I am a female rider and the Busa was my second bike. I rode a 600 for a few years and I must say, I will NEVER leave the Busa. Keep it safe, and have fun. Anyone in Raleigh, Nc, hit me up!
