Welcome, lot of military people here.  10 years is a long time to be in one place...
It's like the black hole of assignments. I am stuck here but I only have 4 more years and I get to retire with 20 years of service completed.
Sounds like we are about in the same position... i've been in almost 16 years. Worked 15's in Okinawa myself for 6 years (44th FS). Electro/Environmental here, currently teaching at Sheppard for the last 4 years. Worked KC-135's at Altus and U-2's at Beale as well. 10 years is along time at any one place. Dont see that to often anymore. Welcome again!

Welcome to the org! I'm in Vegas as well, My friend was stationed at Nellis until recently. He now is stationed in Okinawa Japan. I've only had my Busa for a couple of months and I truly enjoy every bit of it (07 blue).
Kadena AB seems to be taking a lot of people from Nellis lately. Lots of my buddies are now there too.

I am a volunteer for everything. I want to put a package in for Sheppard to teach but I am hearing that it is difficult for a TSgt to get in on the Crewchief side of the house when they are looking for lots of SSgt's to teach.

most of the office that i work in is TSgt's... we only have a few SSgt's. There is about to be a "turn around" of personel here. If you want to be an instructor now would be the time to put an application in. I can answer some general teaching and base questions for you if you like. I know a fighter crew chief teaching as well so i can get you in contact with someone in the squadron. Let me know if you have questions! I can tell you i love it... know when i'm going home, only have to work weekends once in a blue moon and plenty of time to go to school if thats your thing.

Thank you all.

I will be putting my package together as soon as I get back to Nellis next week.

:: to the org now go get that Busa. I had not ridden
12 years and jumped right in on a Busa. Take your time
and get to know her and you will be glad you got one

Welcome aboard.

I had been off bikes for 12 years and jumped on a Busa with no problems. I had ridden an 1100 Katana before that and I was fine.

You'll have fun here!

P.S. Camaros rule!
