Some of you guys need to do some research. There are many advantages to running nitrogen over air in tires. Are the benefits worth $10/tire, on the street probably not. As its becoming more popular, places are starting to infate with nitrogen for free if you buy your tires from them. Take advantage of that if its offered.

$10 per tire?????? Never saw it that high. The highest i've ever seen it is $4 per tire.
Agreed with advantages. I mentioned those earlier in the thread.
Some places are/were charging $10/tire. I would agree that those shops are just out to get your money.
Would not the moisture in "regular" air cool, condence, pool, and form ice on the inside of the tire which might damage it upon landing?

How do they evacuate the regular air out of the tire without deforming them?
