Nolan Helmets OR Chatterbox, which can you hear?

I've had the catterbox set up on my HJC helmet for a year now and I love it but hate it. I can barely hear my ipod at hwy speeds and if I do turn up the volume enough, the speakers are so crappy they distort and hurt my ears (no name calling )

I was thinking of getting a Nolan helmet similar to this one, ebay

anyone have any problems hearing with this at hwy speeds?

If you get the neck collar I don't know the proper name but it stretches around your helmet to keep out the wind noiseI hear they work good and they are cheap . I don't use it because I have a flip up helmet .

Can't help on the nolan speaker thing, but make sure you know it fits, Nolan seem to run on the big side. My Med is on the slightly loose side. Oh.. autocom speakers sound good in it, even with earplugs in.
