What's up people!

I'm a new Busa owner (2005 LE), though not new to motorcycles (this is #13, lucky I hope!).

I'm glad I found this board, lots of valuable info so far just from searching.

I primarily bought the bike to commute to work (gas and miles on my car) and because I just missed not having a bike.

I do want to change a few things:

I want to get rid of the tank bra and get one of the carbon shields like I had on my RC51. If anyone can recommend a source for that please let me know, I haven't had any luck finding one.

I need to get some sliders I guess. The previous owner cut big gaping holes in the fairing and had these big pointy polished aluminum sliders (and bar ends) that honestly, just aren't my taste. So I took all that off (and the big giant shiny kickstand) and I guess it's for sale? If anyone is interested PM me for pics I guess (not sure how that works here).

Welcome very nice busa indeed. You can find sliders anywhere, my dealer sells them for 79, but Ebay has some for around 40. At least you already have the whole cut for them!

I really didn't want sliders to begin with. I wish the original owner hadn't put them on there.

I'm tempted to just leave the holes, though it is a bit ugly.

I found some black carbon ones that look okay I guess.

or you can get the black fairing screens and put an extra one behind the hole, also get some rubber trim and trim the edge of the hole. with those two things it should look good.

I'm not really sure what to ask for any of the parts as I have no idea what they're worth. I'll do a little research tonight and figure out what they all cost new then work down to like half from there.
