Nice choice in taking off the bling. You can get some black delron sliders that look really low key to replace the shiny stuff you took off.
You should post some pics of your whip too. Is it an M3 or a 330?
 
I hate to display my ignorance on this world wide web site, but I have read about the "sliders" on here before. Recently someone posted up a complete set of instructions of how to install with picts.

My question is What Are They For? Highway pegs? Something to put your feet on when your legs cramp up?

Sorry for my stupidity, but I really would like to know.

saves the plastics some if the bike tips over in the driveway or at a slow speed spill. might save other parts as well...?
 
p.s. the carbon fiber cans go real good with your bike.

the member we're talking about goes by the org id of 05BusaLe, he has a lot of tech gadgets on his bike which has been known to be called "airforce1"

Thanks Rev. I guess I assumed that was their purpose from the name "sliders", but, you know what crash bars are, and those things sure aren't crash bars. Now if someone engineered a crash bar add on mod, now you're talking, but on a sport bike, crash bars just wouldn't be right, would it...
 
i want to put sliders on my bike but you are talkin about cutting and crap like that nah i will just find someone to do it for me

I probably will end up with some black Delrin ones or I saw some "carbon" fiber ones (doubt they are actually CF) with a nondescript anodized cap on them.

SPEAKING OF PARTS!

To everyone that's PM'd me I apologize for not responding or getting back to you sooner! I'm in the midst of transitioning to a new job and schedule (from days to nights) as well as training. Whew! So in short, I'm really tired a lot right now and sleeping as much as I can.
