We hit the Benndale area every once in awhile. We usually travel up through
Vancleave into the back country and across toward the ward area. So far we've found some roads that'll throw your lunch on the back seat for you. Even I can't believe some of the curves we've had to make, and I'm from here. Anytime y'all want to hook up, let me know; we'll get something together.

cool glad to hear that... most of the riders here like to "cruise the beach" or "ride to Hattiesburg" (via 49)... very BORING.

You might be able to show us some more roads over in that area. We know most of the roads in the west side.

I know what you mean, I lived in College Park for 3 years. The backroads over there are like driveways compared to the ones over here. It's almost hard to believe you're in the same state. I took a group last Saturday (mix of cruisers and rockets) for an up-country run. Lost two in the curves (no injuries) and one just gave up and turned back. Another area really good for twisties, besides Jackson County, is over in Mobile County. I've rode a few over there that will test nerves pretty good. The backroads over to semmes has some great runs in it; a few of those "touch your own tail light" curves.

That is cool... we haven't really explored over towards Mobile... The only thing I hate about Mississippi backroads is the unannounced oil and chip jobs. That always makes for exciting curves when you are leaned into a good one and the next minute you find yourself skating on gravel.

I love Drake like a brother... but stay away from Down South Burners.. especially as a new rider. They have a large percentage of young Squids in their group (Drake not included).

Hope to see you around sometime... We meet at Edgewater mall (by Wendy's) on most Thursday nights... or you might find us at the top of the Hard Rock Casino on Friday nights drinking Starbucks (HARDCORE!!!)

Keep it shiny side up.

Didnt know that. I dont do the bike club thing. All racing for me. But if was bad advice.... sorry.

:welcome: slow and steady is the right way to go. Like anything else in life, it takes time a practice to get the hang of it. Oh, really like that paint job too:thumbsup:
