normal riding.... what rpm do you shift at?

maybe i'm still used to my old cruiser, but i always shift around 4k. is this normal for everyone else? i'm taking my time and learning the bike as i go. thanks guys.

4000 for me too. Anything less and it's harder to get it to go into gear. For everyday riding around, no need for more.

bout 4500 for me too. Any more than that & the city cops pay more attention to the slash cut mids lol. In the country it opes up to bout 6k

really you don't need to shift to do the speed limit... but if i shift i'd have to say 6-7K...

my thoughts exactly... really dont have a set rpm, just when the engine and feel seems right.... probably not the best way but its my way

I can't remember....effin sno I think the higher the gear the lower the revs. Thats the real problem with the Busa, if you want to wind your gears you need to be at the salt flats
