Did the clutch mod(among other unmentionable cam chain things) and changed erl to mx4t, also wrapped the header w/ thermo tek heat wrap. At first the clutch felt so damn tight it'd take godzilla to pull it in, but it loosened up after an hour or so on the road.
Still gonna change to the heavy duty springs, JohnnyCheese and themotorhead both said it'll help.
Question for Gixxer1300(or anyone w/ experience with this stuff)---Nick, do ya use the spray on crap that the thermo tek box says to use(but doesn't include!) or is that just a buy more stuff statement? The wrap is fairly tight but back on the 2-1 section I can kinda spin it, doesnt seem real stable...all in all my balls don't roast like they used to, I recommend it. All the heat goes where it's supposed to, out the freaking pipe end, not up the fairings.
