Just wanted to pass this on so we can keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers. Jamie Henderson (NY JETS) went down on his bike this weekend in my area. I don't know the extent of his injuries yet, just that it didn't look good for him when he was Life Flighted out the night it happened. He was supposedly in town here for a relative's birthday party.

I don't know Jamie personally but I know his aunt and I think a lot of her. Please keep him, her and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers. Let's hope he pulls through.

Here's his stat page on Yahoo Sports...

Will do, BT. I send up a prayer for him and his loved ones.

It's very unfortunate that that had to happen.

Same here, BT. LifeFlight is never good, but he's a football player and a strong person! Give his aunt our best!

I tried looking up info on him to see if he's okay...can't find a damn thing...

I haven't heard any updates yet but I don't think they were gettin' any physical response from him on the scene. He had vital signs but wasn't conscious from my understanding. One leg had a SERIOUS compound fracture, HEAVY helmet damage, etc... I'll post when I get an update.

Any idea what kind of bike he was on?  GWS!
Nope, no idea... To most cops around here any sport bike is referred to as a crotch rocket or a "ninja" regardless of the make. I've asked everyone I've talked to but the only one that could tell me anything besides crotch rocket said that it was, and I quote, "One of them goddamn ninja type bikes. Hell, I don't know, they're all alike."

Wow ... I read about that on yahoo sports this morning. My prayers are with him and his family and friends.

I see they're listin' him in critical but stable condition. At least he's hangin' on. From all the stories I heard I was afraid he might not pull through.

God Bless him and his family. Praying for a full and speedy recovery...

I work again tomorrow. I'll try to get an update... Thanks for all the replies so far. I'll pass them on when I talk to the family.
