Safe or not. The state department put out a statement that Mexico is not safe for us citizens during spring break. As the president you have to set the standard. Instead they should have said.. its not safe unless you have absorbent amounts of tax payers money to get you safe.

14 million people traveled to Mexico last year alone to vacation. people dieing at border crossings involved in the drug trade have nothing to do with tourists in the resort areas..... far more Americans died in AMERICA last year on vacation then in Mexico.

in u go on vacation to ANY south American country and stray too far from the resort area u are subject to being robbed or kidnapped. ppl need the state department to remind them of that?

You still are more likely to get struck by lightning in the US then to be murdered in Mexico.....

I hear some crazy things but which one of you is going to put your family credentials up against the Obama's? If you think Obama is putting his kid in danger for a political show them you're lunching. To be honest I don't know how they let thier kids leave the white house with all the crazy redneck threats they get right here in the good old USA. What member of a drug cartel is dumb enough to hurt POTUS's kid? Special Forces would be on the ground in an hour with terminate with extreme prejudice orders.

I also hear people say Democrats and Republicans are all the same and that's crazy too. Both are run by the rich and they all plan to stay rich so that's a given. But Republicans have as a stated goal to turn America into a big globally powerful corporation. If you want to see personal freedom disappear then wait until you get your house, food, gas, healthcare all from "the corporation". They will own you just like in the 1800's when corporate towns ran every aspect of people's lives. If you think the government is oppressive wait until corporations own everything, even the courts.


The truth is most of America isn't necessary to the rich corporations anymore. Companies can make a fortune in other countries without paying for infrastructure, Healthcare or clean environments. People really need to wake up.

Mexico is dangerous and there are definitely some parts you wouldn't want to go to.
But for the most part it's still safe. The media will have you think that you will be killed the second you cross the border. This simply isn't true. But I'd bet the neighborhood ten minutes north of me is just as bad.

There are some parts of Tampa I do not want to go to with all the crime and shootings.

Right now we have a serial bank robber in the area that has robbed 3 banks within a 1/2 mile of each other.

I am not going to expect an unbiased report. Plus the site did not even add up all of obamas vacations. it merely compared his ONE christmas vacation to ALL of bush's flight totals to his ranch.

Anyways, they all waste money. I dont care anymore. Our country is going to hell, and there is no stopping it. May be a negative attitude but there is some puppet master behind the scenes that controls everything no matter what we do.

I've heard all this about GWB traveled more than Obama, but not sure I believe it. I've also heard it the other way. GWB went home to Texas; his house his ranch easily defended; Obama doesn't go home to Chicago, he goes everywhere else. GWB may have had his immediate family with him, Obama sends mother in law, kids, friends of kids, etc. I've also read from an admitted conservative how GWB gave up golf while President, while Obama stepped up his golf game I forget how many hours but it was huge.

Mrs. GWB had like 4 staffers, Michelle has like 30. I guess it would be easy enough to total up the travel budget for each executive office and see how it comes out, but statistics means you can present the data to get the answer you want about 99% of the time.

You know what makes me sick? Most of the things on that list are BS! First and foremost O'Crackhead (obama) did not kill osama. Period! That idiot was sleeping in bed while soldiers were working. He was informed after the fact. Amazing how he claims it as his victory. The douche has no clue. Second appointing 2 pro-choice women to the supreme court.....Like that's something to brag about.
