OEM \"J\" vs. Standard B\'stones Battlax

In shopping around for a new rear tire I noticed Suzuki recommends the Bridgestone Battlax BT56 J. Does anyone know if the this specific "J" tire differs from the regular BT56?

Hype or does the Busa have a custom B'stone tire?

It's not hype. Should be easy to get from your Suzuki dealer and no more expensive.

But unless you really do ride above 150 a lot, consider the BT56 'SS' tires. I just switched and after a 2,600-mile twisty highway tour, I love them. They stick, the bike turns in a little easier, and they appear to wear well. I'd call myself a 75% rider and I felt quite secure on them on all kinds of roadways.

My understanding of the J model is that it is beefed up to be safe at the ultimate speeds our bikes are capable of.
