Officer Down Motorcycle Ride

Sunday June 8th is the 5th Annual Officer Down Motorcycle Run, The ride leaves Burlington County College, SH38 Mt Laurel Twp at 1200 hrs. It is approximately a 45 min ride to Rosedale Park in Hopewell. The entire ride is Police escorted. There is a $15.00 registration fee that can either be paid at the gate or online at www.officerdownnj.org/mr08.html.

Monies raised at this event will go to the scholarship funds and families of permanently disabled and deceased Law Enforcement Officers. I can think of no greater cause than the education of our children or assisting these fine officers and their families.

It is me, I have resurfaced!!

Been pretty busy lately and dont get on the bike much anymore. Kids and getting my hands into all the extra stuff dont help.

This ride is for a great cause. I had a friend and past co-worker who passed away a month or so ago who was a recipient two years ago for Officer Down. This organization makes a bad or tragic situation into a comforting realization that the families of the Officers are not forgotten and that the Brothers and Sisters in Blue will help them.

Again I look forward to seeing some Busa's there.

The great part about this organization is that they show no Union colors. If you are FOP, PBA dont matter Cops are Cops period, and if they need help Officer Down is reaching out to help.

Recently had a Guns and Hoses boxing event. Proceeds from that event, half went to Officer Down, the other half went to a Burn Center for injured Fire Fighters.
