oil change problem

Lmao...not whining..just wasnt expecting it..it was my first oil change on the new bike and didnt expect to run into it is all. For now on,i will just be prepared with a 5mm allen is all. Thanks.

I will admit the Busa isnt a 5 minute oil change design thankfully it doesnt have to be done each time ya fill the gas tank. Or ya can take it to the dealer and risk having them screw it up and then take your bike out on a rev limiter test drive.

It gets easier each time you do it.

Remove 3 bolts instead of 2 bolts and pull on a delicate radiator with easily bending cooling fins? I think I will pass and stick with the 2 allan heads.

Yes remove 3 bolts and move a cooler on flexible lines instead of removing an oil line vital to operation.
Do a search for yourself and see how many here have Effed that up and stripped the threads screwing the oil line back in. I have yet to hear anyone say they messed up their cooler. Whatever floats your boat but I'm not removing any oil lines because each time you do the threads and screws get weaker. My way your removing bolts from threaded nuts easily replaced.

Just a curiosity question from a Gen I owner; does this problem exist with the stock header, or just aftermarket ones?

Im doing my first oil change on my 2012 and ran into a problem. The oil filter will NOT come out between the header, block and oil cooler hose. I ended up having to pull the hose off to get the filter out, which is going to suck to do every time.. :banghead:

Any body else have this problem? I didnt have this problem with my last akrapovic pipe... I wonder why the new one is so close..???
