OIL?

I'll break my bike in for the first 1000 miles with petrolium then I'll switch to a synthetic. Brand and weight?? Also what about the oil filter, do you all use OEM or is there something bettor. I'll change both every 1000 miles. Street ridden only

I recommend Amsoil or Royal Purple I am running the 10w-40 they put out as for Filters go with the stock Suzuki Filter that is my 2 cents

Mobil 1 15w-50 with oem filter for the last 10k+ miles since adding the turbo.
