Ok, so what are you really thankful for?

I am thankful I have survived long enough to still be around to enjoy my Gen 2 Hayabusa , and hold out hope to still be , so in time for the Suzuki Hayabusa Gen 3 ....
I am thankful I have my ' ol' Ma ' and my faithful dog with me for xmas , and even more thankful to find out my ol' Ma wasn't slapped when Toad was born , despite many bastards saying otherwise !!

You and I are in very similar circumstances, I'm 60, lost most of my family, only have a bro and a sis left, but have kids and grandkids, lost my ex wife 3 weeks ago to cancer, lost a girlfriend recently,lost a few friends, but I have my two dogs who are my best mates!
Life is good though, as you get older you value each day and every close friend you have, more and more.

And my grandfather died at 60 something with cancer from his esophagus to his bladder. Smoking and drinking causes damage to your body and cell walls, when the cells are damaged, they go through repair. Cancer cells are form during the mitosis stage. Medical background/biology major, being a combat medic, and common sense will tell you that smoking doesn't 100% cause cancer, but it increases your chances of getting it by at least 70%.

Thank you...Finally some common sense rather than absolute NONsense. I felt like i was still in the 70's when people didnt know that smoking actually increases cancer risk immensely!

Yeah, I feel like it’s something else. It’s like everyone on this site is old enough to look pass the trolls and move on, but they have something to prove online. This happens on a lot of forums that I’ve been on, I’m slightly younger (27) but this sort of behavior is very common on gaming communities. I was expecting more than fights and arguments in every thread here though, I really do like the contents and I’ve learned a shitload about motorcycles that I’ve never learned before.
