Howdy all, trying to get a ride together for Sunday March 30th. So far it is

I am not sure of what would be good roads in OK, we suck. But I was thinking about the Talihina Scenic Drive.

No times set as of yet, its about 3 hours my way and 3 from the Dallas area, so I am certainly open to suggestions. All are welcome. I will also try to find something in the way of lunch.

when I go, we turn off 69 to 43 in Daisy, catch 271 in Clayton, then 1 (skyline drive) to Queen Willimena lodge (Mena, Ar)for lunch, backtrack to big Cedar, 259 to broken bow over to Idabel, 70 to Durant, 69/75 home. thats about a 12hr route... lunch & sightseeing

James, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to backtrack all the way back to Daisy, the roads are just as good headed west. no sense for you to go lone ranger such a distance. if those who live close to the area that haven't ridden this road, you don't know what you're missing! twisties & scenery.

Works for me, I dont know the area that well. Meet/Split at Daisy works for me. What time do you want to meet in Daisy?

Figures you guys would come up with something that weekend. I'm doing a charity ride the 29th that i have been helping to plan. It is going to be a big deal. We are trying to raise $10000 for the Hospice of Wichita Falls. There is going to be a ride, live band, bike games, food included if you do the ride and lots of door prizes. There will also be local vendors selling goods there as well. We are expecting alot of bikes. We have been advertising this locally in the paper, tv, radio and billboards. If you guys want to come ride, let me know!

Jerry, You can also park it at my place if you want to add a little more distance the the trip!  

I just did the routes up (I hope correctly) and it looks like 475 miles for James and 472 miles for me.  We block photobucket from the office so I can't link to the screen shots of the maps.  I will post them up this evening when I get home.

When did you get the new trailer? Did you post pics? There are

Hey dan, thanks bud!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah....bought a brand new 2008 CargoCraft 6x13 and 6ft high enclosed V-NOSE (black). Picked it up on wedesnday and got it home at 11:30am, and at 1200hrs my work called and said i had to pack up and be on the rig within the hour. Thats where I am now, so I wasnt able to snap any pics. Will be takin some when i get home, and hopefully can make the trip so ya'll can see it in person as well
