There will not be a hayabusa in 07!

I am inclined to think that too, similar to what Zuk did with the gsxr1100. They stopped the 1100 in 98, busa came in 99 and the 1000 came in 2001. It tell me the 1000, not the busa, was there to replace the 1100.

the fastest Hayabusa is in space, a japanese spacecraft taking pictures of planets or something. i think suzuki will keep making the Busa if for nothing else but its namesake.

I'm hoping for a minimally changed bike.  Maybe they will make it so that we don't have to cut the fairings to add sliders.  A kickstand that traveled through a greater arc so that it would be less likely to fold up  would be nice.  I'd like to see the trunk space be made more useable.  I'm betting on it being stroked with a better flowing head.

...AND....would be nice if they'd make that lower fairing opening just a tad bigger so that you wouldn't have to remove that @*&^%$ fairing to change the oil filter!!
