Kinda funny...... I graduated and bacame a Marine at PI....10 yrs later I got Court Martialed there.....

Yeah, too bad we didn't don't have a few more like him. I used to have one of his coins, but I gave it to a kid who got out without ever meeting a CMC. Kinda wish I hadn't but.....

What is Battle Sight Zero with respect to a M-16?

The correct windage and elevation placed on your weapon that allows you to hit a man sized target from 200 yards away on a clear and wind-less day.... or something like that

300 yds. BZO is also taken only when wearing full gear.

Reason you shoot for it at 36yds is that the ballistic arc of the round is the same at 36 as it is at 300.

I was a PMI for 2 years at Cherry Point, now stuck as avi instructor in P-cola. Hate being stuck on a Navy base. They seem to forget that they are over glorified chauffeurs around here
