For the age question from Phil96, 51 yrs of age, was kinda wondering the age range of the members here. When I first sat on this beaut, I wondered if it might be a younger persons bike. I'm in great shape so that wasn't a concerne, after the short time I've enjoyed on her, this is definitely no fools toy. Its been too long since I've felt this great about anything, what a release.

She looks great! Amazingly, you'll see there are a lot of older riders aroud here.

:welcome: When I bought my 08 I thought, Man I may be to old for a bike like this. I was wrong. I love it and by the way, I'm also 51. Be safe and enjoy it.

I reckon the busa is more often ridden by older blokes ( and no I'm not having a go at anyone!) I know quite a few guys in their 50/60s who ride them I'm the only guy I know my age who does (25) not saying we aren't out there just not as much, the dealer who sold me mine said i was the only guy under 35 he'd ever sold one to that may just be in aus don't know what its like in the states, whatever the case may be i think the busa is a gentlemans bike not like those uncivilised 1000cc road racers most the guys i know my age ride, and as busa riders not just any old thing will do we take pride in what we're seen riding (only the best ofcourse):rofl::welcome::thumbsup:

I'll be 70 in 8 months, and I still drag my squeaking knees. Hispeed puckerfactor keeps
me young.

Thunderbred, I have had allot of Nipponese motorcycles (and one Trump) over the years but have always ridden HD's as the main stay for over 42 years. The Busa is hands down the most fun motorcycle I have ever had. You are going to enjoy it!

I'll get another HD someday, but it has to be either a Pan or earlier. If I own an evo, it'll be all after market on a home built frame with a front end I designed moons ago. I aready love the Busa, while carving the winding road I already feel we're finesse incarnate.
70 years young + is a goal I hope for, and on a Busa!

Same here I only ride the hog to keep the battery charged and oil in the right places:welcome:

Welcome and not sure if you're having any issues with the mirrors not being able to see behind you but one of the first mods I did, and very thankful I did, was to put the mirror extenders on. Others just buy the GSXR mirrors as I think they achieve the same result. The difference in the rear view is night and day and a big safety upgrade in my book. Enjoy.
