What fuel is it running to need that much ign power ?? or was the original just too weak anyway ?? Just before my time , but the oldschool turbo bikes always did have an attraction

I used to have a 92 GSXR 1100 with a Sims and Rohm blower on it.
Who's blower is that?

That is not a blower you see on the right, it is a Mallory Sprint Mag, about an 80,000 volt ignition system. This bike is a turbo-nitrous bike with an old school Rajay 370F40 turbo, custom exhaust, plenum, S&S Super E carb, air shifter with an on-board compressor, Kosman frame gussets, Kosman motor mounts . . . it goes straight as an arrow and has been over 180 several times . . .

Old school kool! Man I remember my older bro and his crew. They all had Gs and Kz and 4into1 Kerkers.
Bwaaahhhhaaaaaaa!

Whoa....

Brings back my beginnings with motorcycling, we had two in the stable+ a kz 650. I met a guy down here who has one and wants to restore it. killer looking motorcycle, congrats...

why did they put the turbo behind the cyl head? I have a Z1300, 6 cyl which Im gonna put a turbo on sometime.. and there is plenty of space in front of the engine, ... but the Z1300's Ive seen all have it behind the cyl head... ?

But that is a turbo between the engine and the KZ 1000 plastic cover on the left side???
