Your Flintstone reverse wouldn't engage! You ain't foolin' no one!
There are 2 OZZ's "There Goes the Neighboorhood" :laugh
Just posting under my sons name for one quick note. There are three OZZ'S. I the father am OZZ #1, Rob and James are OZZ #2 and 3. Actualy my wife Sharon Osborne is OZZ #1 (I know my palce), that would make me OZZ #2 and so fourth. Although I have recently sold my bike, I do ride and have been since the 1960s, and am the top of the food chain (Well next to the top).
Jim Osborne, the father of Rob and James.
You plan on buying an orange/black Busa Father Ozz? If so, I'm going to have to pull your Ozz card.
Dropped my bike off at the dealership to have the clutch noise checked. No sign of a 09 silver/gray Busa there Bosshound, the salescat said "at least another month before we see any".
They did have the 09 ZX14's, a green and an orange. I was kinda diggin' the orange. It has a genuine imatation ostrich seat and says "Special Edition" on the tank.

You on DRUGS Robb
it was my Pop who posted under my name not me...but i should be on drugs right about now, my new 08 is in the shop, there not sure what the problem is yet but it has do with the clutch and all the slop and cluncking its doing.
As soon as the mech. took off across the parking lot it started to clunked when he let out the clutch with all that slop i was complaing about sunday.
The shop will call when their sure of the problem and let me know...sooooo, im very disapointed in this new bike so far and with only 200 miles on it if they have to do surgery i think im gonna be sickuke:
Damn Rob that's gotta be trying, I'd expect a brand new bike to be damn near perfect, let's just hope they don't try to pull that not under warranty due to operator misuse crap like Suzuki did with the tranny problems in the Gen 1 Busas. Keep us informed on the situation, good luck man.
You Gottta Remember ROBB. 1 in 10 Items NEW or NOT Comes Defective from the Factory. Just Let them Fix the FUGGER and Ride it Like You Stole It. The 08 BUSA is One Fine Bike. Has Great EMERGENCY LEAN Response as I found out this Morning on the Way too Work. I would Ask for some sort of compensation from the Dealer as they are supposed to Ride the Bike (Approx 3 miles) Before they sell it,,,,,,,,,,??? When I bought my 06 Last Year I got the First Service Free because of an Issue I had with a RUDE Parts Guy............Post Up when you get any Answers
My noise isn't clunky, sounds like somethings rubbing the clutch was a bit of a problem on the last ride. I don't know how many times I stalled from a stop, a bunch.
It was just a slight noise that went away a few seconds after it warmed up. Only heard it in neutral. I thought it was the push bearing. But, then I saw a thread about 08 clutch noise where the bolts back out and rub on the inside of the housing. I'm sure that's the case with mine. Got home after the last ride and the noise was much louder and constant.
Going home I went around stopped traffic at a light and there was a guy on a TL1000 up front. He took off and I stalled it again, started it and stalled it a second time before I got it rolling. I hit it pretty hard to catch up and I could feel it slip as I went up thru the gears. I don't know maybe thats why I've been getting that false neutral 5th to 6th.
I had a close one on the way to the dealership. Guy lost a mattress on Florin Rd doing about sixty. I was the 2nd vehicle behind him. I don't think the Azz even had it tied down in the back of his truck. The car in front of me swerved right as it skidded to the centerline. I went left and got around it, the car in front a the azz hole that lost it. The guy behind me in a 4X4 made a mess of it.
Hey Robb, I hope they get your problem sorted out for you.
I remember reading someplace where more than one busa clutch was not disengaging properly, a simple fix having to do with a part at the clutch lever being installed backwards!!?? Hmmmmm..............I also remember sitting on the two 08 busas at the Reno dealership a few months back............one clutch lever would completely disengage properly (almost touching the grip when pulled in) and the other bike's clutch would only travel to half that distance????

I got you beat Russ, had a toilet seat lid fly out of the back of a truck on I80 once and hit the front of my Camaro than bounce of the windshield. Talk about the @#%! hitting the fan. Passed that lid on my way home from work for weeks just laying on the shoulder and could not help but laugh.
You know it will all work out big bro, you will be tearing up the twisties in no time.
