Ordered a Tobin seat today; the wait begins

Your gonna love your new seat,

Comfortable / Lower in the saddle / And when you Jump on it your Butt will stay still, No more sliding back and inch or so.

Anyonw here knows other than Tobin o connor himself that does the torbin seats.Are there any people or shops doing it too.
 
i just got mine back a week ago and the fit and finish are top notch. this mod was well overdue for me. thanks tobin :thumbsup:

Cause i saw seats that are very similar to his selling at ebay.I asked the seller he says that tobin got a few guys helping him out and a few shops also selling it.I was quite puzzled thats why i decided to ask members here for clarification.

To the best of my knowledge, Tobin sells to shops and they add their markup and sell to the public. Unless he's added a workforce since the last we have talked, its him and his woman fielding the business.

Still no seat; still no word from Tobin. No response to phone messages.

I am assuming he closed down for holidays and will reopen after New Years sometime.
Meanwhile, I have bungeed a 1" foam stadium seat pad to my 'Busa, and am continuing to ride. Looks a little strange, but not too uncomfortable; it works for the short term.

The wait continues...I'll post pics when seat comes in.

Post a pic when you get her :thumbsup: I watched Tobin at work when he used to go to the monthly Ephrata (PA) bike meet.
 
Well...the seat was supposed to be here today, but it's not. According to the tracker number, UPS says it arrived locally in my city on Dec. 30. It is now the afternoon of January 2. Let's see: 3 whole days to get across town, and it's not here yet?

I don't understand. I wish I could just drive over to the terminal and pick it up!!!
Three days. That's rediculous!!

Yeah, I guess I am a little impatient.
