Our gen3 promo jackets are on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want the jacket!!!!!!
I mean I really want a gen3 too but I'm sure that's many years away from happening, hopefully by then they've figured out our to make one in the fastest COLOR :D. But I would love to have one of those jackets too. I just found an older Joe rocket hayabusa jacket in good shape that I bought but it is definitely not the heaviest jacket I've owned but I hope to never test it. I bought it to replace my other joe rocket jacket that was bought used and was finally worn out and I thought it was a heavy duty jacket but even being too big for me it was lighter then my buddy's alpinestars jacket that's quite a bit smaller. I think I've got a bit of an obsession with jackets:lol:,I actually have one that I need to sell that's an old agv red and black hayabusa jacket that I've wanted for a long time that's in like new condition but I had to send my brother to buy it from the guy because it was close to him in Kentucky and even tho I sent him to make sure it was close to my size he bought it anyway and it's waaaaayyyyyy too big:(

Went to the dealer for the PU of the busa jacket and tried it on. It's a size 60 euro or as it said on the order form 3X. No way is it a 3X. Maybe large or 1X at most. My joe rocket is 2X and is perfect for me at 240 lbs with size 52 chest coat size. I also have a JR 3X and it floats on me!! So I ordered the size 64 which is the largest size offered. If it's too tight, I will sell it. They are made in Vietnam probably to their smaller body size or something, but it's wayyy too small. Just a heads up if you're thinking of ordering one. I also noticed at the dealer there were no new busa's. The owner said it was going to be October before he got another one. I told him, that the riding season will be over then. The poor guy looked at me with a sad face and said they were struggling to make ends meet because all the world manufacturing slowed down and container ships can't be unloaded fast enough. I heard container ships are anchored off the west coast sometimes for 2 weeks before getting unloaded. I also noticed as I passed through the outer Los Angeles area, that the Toyota dealer only has USED cars, NO NEW cars!!! Whaaattt?? It's still bad man, this is crazy.

Does anyone have access to a second order ?. Although it comes with no armor.:banghead:

Alpinestars run notoriously small in everything they make.
I have a pair of their Air guantlets in xl.
I had to wet and stretch the fingers repeatedly to make the glove fingers longer.
And if the wrists were any smaller, I literally wouldn't be able to get my hands in them.
I could not find them in xxl, and am currently looking for better fitting summer gloves.

Couldn’t agree more. I had to return my first pair of gp1 gloves and even the next size larger was still pretty tight.

I called my dealer today and I was told the jackets were for preorder gen 3’s only and my gen 3 was in stock so no jacket for me. Can these be bought? Does anyone have a stock number or order number?

Does the system of wetting them work? And you have stretched them by wearing them or with some tool. I also have the problem of tight new gloves. A thousand thanks sixpack577

Yes sir, wetting new leathers, gloves, jacket, pants, etc Does work.
If you soak new leathers, and ride til dry a time or 2, like in the summer storms we get here, the leather will soften, an conform to Your shape more as it dries.
It becomes a more custom fit.
For the gloves, I used .75" piece of brass round bar with a smooth end(just because I have it and it works), and with the gloves wet, I repeatedly pushed and tugged at the glove fingers and thumbs, individually, and putting my hands in and out several times.
Since there are multiple pieces of leather stretching a small amount, I was able to get the pressure off of my fingertips.
This took a couple times out riding, but is always worth it.
This particular model of glove has wrist openings that are too small, and it takes alot of effort for me to get my hands in and out of them. Nothing can be done there because of heavy stitching, but it has loosened ever so slightly.
And I'm ok with durable, now comfortable gloves that'll stay on if I need them to.
As for wetting jackets and pants, I found they fit better in the armpits and hips once the leather stretched and dried on you.

Good advice, I picked up a new pair of Alpinestar gloves and the thumb is too short. After an hour of riding my thumbs were numb and I had to take them off. I will have to give this a try.

My gloves have tight wrist band as well...once your hands start to get a bit sweaty, getting them on and off is a chore..

Grazie davvero molto utile. Speravo di trovare uno strumento del genere per allargare le scarpe, ma non sembra esistere. E poi metterò in pratica i tuoi consigli

Thanks really very useful. I was hoping to find a tool like that to widen the shoes, but it doesn't seem to exist. And then I'll put your advice to work
