Out of Politics....

As you are perfectly aware.....discussions here often devolve very quickly to the point of anger and resentment......

Why? That is the paramount question......

We are on a motorcycle forum and this commonality draws us here but all it takes is the constant back and forth on some of these heated, controversial topics that (in my opinion) usurps the very balance of further discussion.....the same rhetoric goes back and forth, over and over.....

I am also guilty of not knowing when to stop typing as I am new to expressing any opinions...this is something I struggled with and am starting to figure out how to manage it.

My political stance will never falter....I am a neutral right with left sympathies......in my former profession, it really didn't matter who was in the big seat, I still had to go do what I had to do.......I wasn't a robot, I was in a position to question my orders and my leadership was smart enough to listen as I was very experienced and well trained so my opinion was valued...I had to go through a very tough and exclusive selection process to get to where I was.....the failure rate was extreme.

However, I am also new to any social media...this is my only source.......I love this forum and I get wrought in feelings when I see all this squabbling and hateful rhetoric over almost anything and everything these days......it makes me want to leave the forum but I'm just too stubborn to do so..........

So here I am trying to talk a little sense into anyone who cares to listen in hopes we can continue to have valid, intelligent, productive discussions without the constant ride in the barrel........

I have been a Democrat, then became and Independent, then became a Republican. Not based on preference of who I like, rather on what I believe is important for our country. The Republicans are by no means perfect.

You and I have been at it many times, I am probably more guilty than you. I agree though, the ORG is a special place.

We all need to try harder to get along.

If it was Biden it would not be a$$ kissing... it would a be highly 1 sided professional discussions with a severely brain rotted Sleepy Joe. Right?

To have peace leaders must discuss the issues... you call it kissing jazz when negotiations are either attempted or started in order to resolve the current level of warfare. Or, are we going to continue watching where 1000s of people that are dying needlessly?

Tariffs against Canada...? Me thinks there is a little bit more going on here than you are aware of... stand back for a while and see what develops.

When energy cost come down the prices will also come down to some extent. the Biden over spending ( intentionally ) inflation spike will take longer to recover from.

Hi. Our governor bragged about shutting down 2 natural gas pipelines in to MA. Now the cost of getting the gas to costs more than the gas itself.

I agree with securing the border but “the economy is back in place?” Seriously? Tens of thousands have lost their jobs, groceries are up quite a bit, gas is high, and experts say the tariffs are only going to make it worse.

Ok. They have found some excess and for the umpteenth time I support the audit, just use a scalpel instead of a sledgehammer and watch those figures; the Department of Customs and Immigration was noted by DOGE as an excess of 8 billion when in fact it was 8 million. It’s a thousand times less. No big deal until you consider that these numbnuts have access to all our private info.
