you and that pressure.get an adjustable regulater from kinsler. You can change the injecters duration of spraying time to get the fuel frank!IT"S GETTING THE AIR THATS THE PROBLEM AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!!!!

965@146.5 stock everything including suspension setup and clutch.airbox gutted yosh remap at. 11:30+10+5+0 no balancer+4 rear sprocket and that was with a crappy 1.689 60 ft.this was before dyno tuning .i'll let you know in a little over a week when the new dyno w-a/f monitor arrives the before and after the ti muzzy goes on.yes i know the times could be lower and the 60 ft but it shows decent power for stock pipe and motor.

I talked to kinsler back in june and they said name your size.so contact them on the webb at kinsler.com and they carry larger injectors and A/F meters too.

What good is this going to do you if you don't get more fuel pressure?

Have you done anything with fuel pressure yet? Or, know how?

I'm Not saying it's not possible, just want to know if theres any tricks that anyone might know of for the stock parts on a Busa?

MOTORHEAD, JohnnyChesse, Lee....or anyone?

How can We raise it without spending the big bucks?

I'm not talking about et's and such....I'm talking about tearing into a set of thottle bodies and boring them out and the going to town on the fuel injectors...

...and then coming up with your own PW2 map for your setup.

I ran 144.5 on My totally stock Busa...no gear change, not a damn thing. Just as it came off the showroom.

You should be able to pop off something better then 146.5mph with the stuff that was done to your bike or the ont your reffering to.

I want you to tell Me where you've done the injection boring and then had no problems with your stock fuel pressure....

FRANK THE GEARING MADE NOT ONE MPH. DIFFERENCE.AND IT WAS LIKE 88 DEGREES ON THAT ONE AND humid.I wasnt bragging i don't have any thing to bragg about i'm sure you ran consistent mph the same or better and i'm sure you bike ran better than a lousy consistant 960s.and all my mods werent expensive.you have a computer look at all the stuff at your finger tips your missing.BESIDES IT"S JUST ANOTHER ENGINE IN YOUR BIKE AND YOUR INJECTION IS A SIMPLE SPEED DENSITY SYSTEM PERIOD.cars have run them for years so talk to kinsler they can help you with your questions more than anyone here.a little cross pollination is part of researching products already available.and my bike did go in the 147mph before but i go by what it consistantly runs.and my mods cost under 100bucksthat 3mph over your stock bike for a song so that aint too bad and i did not use a dyno to tune mine.and that was before the balancer was removed.i'll get it down in time.

<<YOUR FUEL PRESSURE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BORING YOUR THROTTLEBODIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>>

Look up above, I said "Injection"

You can bore out your thottle bodies, thats been done....and the gain is minimal!

And that when your going to find out that you need to go a step further, then you'll understand what I've been saying.

M-H, 43pds is not going to cut it.(thats close to the stock pressure)

yes it can cut it .i'll leave them on longer FRANK.ive been using injection on my other kaws since they got decent in 1982.i just change the duration of the spray if its open longer it lets more fuel out.and this does not beat up on the injector seat.and bigger throttle bodies will help if your head is big enough and i think yours is.but if the original openings the same and the distance rearward is stock this would be the minimal gain culprit.I see you never called any of the injector places i told you about so i'm wasting my breath talking to someone who knows alot more than myself on this so i'll leave you to your quest.good luck.I'm going to play with my new dyno have fun!

Actually M.H. I think 9.60s are damn good for a stock bike. I can tell you, not a lot of us can do that. I know Frank and a few more can but not many. There was some guy back in the summer going 9.30s on a stock but lowered bike. Anybody remember who that was?

Frank & Motorhead,
I hate to get in between a good argument, but is a fuel pump/regulator that hard to find or do we need something special? Guess I don't understand the problem. I guess I get the point of the stock injectors not liking the extra pressure. Are there not other injectors that will work. Mr.Turbo has pump and regulator in their kit. I even ran a car pump & regulator on a old KZ turbo back in mid 80s. With the new technology thats out there, 2 guys with your knowledge should be able to come up with something. Not making this harder than it needs to be are we? Just asking. Jack

FRANK I KNOW HOW TO MODIFY THE STOCK REGULATOR FOR 5 OR MORE PSI, I THINK UP TO 10 BUT 5 HAS BEEN DOING GOOD. I SELL PRE DONE REGULATORS FOR $25 EXCHANGE. YOU KNOW MY DEAL, IF I TELL YOU HOW I'LL HAVE TO KILL YOU!! SO PLEASE DON'T BE LIKE CBX CHRIS AND BAG ON ME, EVERY ONES ENTITLED TO MAKE A LIVING. THIS JUST HAPPENS TO BE HOW I MAKE MINE.

there is a couple hundred people making things you can use on the busa including injectors and anything else.you have to look not throw your hands up for answers from above.I know jack but convincing some people is not always the wisest choice I try helping to much.pressure has it's limits and you have to try it to know when to say when.

Lee,
I am interested in the modified regulator. With the 3mm stroke and 4mm bore Ill be at 1500cc. I think an increase in fuel flow is in order. How does the pump handle the extra output long term? Should be doing dyno tests by the end of March.

Motorhead, I get to the point that I just don't talk about the things that I'm doing until it's done.

But I will tell YOU that one of the places that you sent Me a e-mail of...has been working with us for 6 or 7 weeks now and they have my entire Busa Injection system.

There is no need for Me to go into details about it other than it's just some more R&D.
When it's finished and I have facts to go on,I'll be glad to share.

You know, you talk pretty loud & bold(like I once did) for someone that hasn't done but a few external mods.

You need to get your hands in on some of what your talking about and stop going off of hearsay so much.

You know I've been flamed on a 100 times since I've been talking on the Org and I'm sure I'll get it another 100. That all comes with speaking your mind like you like to do.

....and if you going to answer My questions, please answer them with facts not hearsay.

I'm saying this because not everything that worked in the past is going to work on the Busa!

When you start doing more mods then the ones you have your going to find that out....

LIKE I SAID FRANK I "M NOT AS SMART AS YOU BUT I DON"T PARROT TALK.I did only small mods to my busa because I own a bike business and don't have the time yet.but you cannot fathom what I have up my sleeve for mine because no ones ever done it on a bike ever!I do all my own work and testing on my bike no one else touches it or helps guide me.I do not and will never know enough.so don't ever compare yourself in any shape or form to me period we are totaly different.I live by one rule.KNOWLEDGE IS LIMITED CREATIVITY IS LIMITLESS!!!!!

OH FRANK IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE WHO CAN MAKE THE M0ST POWER WITH THE LEAST MONEY SPENT. MY BUDDIES BUSA MADE 266 hp WITH 800$ INVESTED WITH MY NITROUS I SETUP ON HIS BUSA AND IT WAS MEASURED ON THE DYNO AND I HAVE THE PRINTOUT!AND IF I DO ONE OF MY BUSAS IT AINT GOING TO BE THOSE LITTLE JETS ON MINE!

Lee I didn`t bag on you...I just have avenues for parts that most people don`t....including you. I was just asking for info to save time. Will at PM is delivering a set of springs for me to try this weekend at Indy trade show. And I also know how to test and R&D parts....I just don`t bite at every piece of info I see. Hope theres no hard feelings....
