I understand Scootergirl. I agree. It will probably rain.

Mike
So.......it now looks like only PM rain. Are you going? I would like to go so if we can make it home by afternoon I'm still in.

Let me know!
We will be at Mr. Dougs at 8:am. We need to be back by mid afternoon so a good local ride may be in order. Looking forward to meeting you.

Mike
Just got home from a fun day with Mike the Cop and his brother Rick. We ended up going to Mt. St. Helens and it was a great day. Only got a tiny bit of drizzle. We did apprx 275 miles (at least that's how much from my house) We rode steady after breakfast and only stopped for a minute here and there. I'm sure Mike will write up a detailed report so I won't go into details. No camera on this trip (darn).

Ya I see you rode with my dad. Kind of a hute isnt he.

My brother and I had a fun ride with you also, Teresa. You handle that Hayabusa pretty good. I'm glad the roads were dry. We did open it up a bit on that one straight. However, we did observe the speed limit +5 in most cases.

My photoless trip report will have to wait a bit. I'm off to Portland to assemble a motor then I'm off to Cody Wyoming with some Blue Knights friends of mine.

Be back in about a week.

ScooterGirl.........
I'm still making plans for the weekend of the 17th.
Who all is in for it?
Keep posting the board and keep me informed.
The ride this weekend to St. Marie's "Paul Bunnion Days" was Kick-In-the-Axe!
That town Closed Down the streets and threw a Party!
It didn't stop till 3:45am Monday morning........I had a BLAST!

Yes I'm in - weather permitting! I knew Tabatha was your daughter. Your dad told me about it. How fun!!! Congrats!!!

I told BV I was in unless the weather bumps it to the next weekend. I have plans. Do you know yet where and what time we are leaving the 17th?

I'll send you guys a map in a few days.....yep we are on for the 17th-18th...lets hope we have some nice weather.

We will be leaving early Saturday and getting back home before dark on Sunday.

We should be doing well under 400 miles per day....except I might be doing closer to 400 since I am further North.

Yeah. Me, Neeley and SG are going so far.

Are you coming? We will wait up for you every now and again if you decide to come.

As it stands:

hwy 410 to Yakima
hwy 821 north to I90, we take a ~35 miles ride in I90 , its a nice piece of 90
smile.gif

From the town of Vantage we head on 26 to Othello then get on 24 and
backtrack some and circle back and down thru the Handford site , 24 turns into
240, we will be in the Tri-Cities shortly after that.

Going back we will just hit 240 to 243, hop on I90 to George, take 281
to Quincy then head towards Wenatchee hop on Hwy 2 and head back
home.

I figure we will have lunch in Leavenworth on the way back and have lunch in
Yakima on the way.

I know the mileage coming back will be something like 300 miles ...going to might be closer to 400.

If we make any changes to the plans it will be just to take hwy 2 both ways...I need to find out 2 things first though...how 410 is all the way to Yakima and how 821 is....821 looks especially interesting because it follows the Yakima river for most of the way.

I was really looking forward to meeting all of you and going on a ride.
But the route your going to take is a little out of way for me.
