Thought I should finally introduce myself. Been lurking here since December after I bought my K8. What a machine! Hope to meet/ride with other WA Busa members this summer. Till then,

Cold and wet today.  Somebody send me some Global Warming, quick before I explode!  I have seen weather this cold in Everett during April in the 9 years I've been here.  It make me want to move back to The Dalles.  They've had mid 60s all week.

I did an upgrade tonight.

So whats the difference? Looks like a sprocket is an easy upgrade... something else I can spend my money on

I went from the stock 43T to an aluminium Vortex 41T sprocket. I wanted lower RPMs on the freeway, and for my speedo to be more accurate. I'll be giving up a tiny bit of acceleration, but with over 180HP I don't think I'll miss it.

It's a bit more work than adjusting the chain, but less than changing a tire.
