Pacific Northwest

Most of the riders that have been going are on HD's, and are very anti-sportbike. A few of my friends said last year was better though.

I went in 2002 on my first busa and had a blast . Its not like it was along time ago , you see alot of families there walking around . The real bikers (1%ers) hate the trailer bikes the most . You should go there at least once in your life if you like bikes , but Ride there ! The oyster run used to be all about HDs in back in the day too . It is put on by the Banditos .

Everything went well. I can't feel much in my leg right now, but I guess that's supposed to happen. The best part is that they didn't torture me in the process. If nothing improves in a few weeks they said they can put in another injection. If that doesn't work they will be moving to surgery to remove more of the disc.

hey guys....have a question for you, looking to get the the supersprox sprocket for my K8,dont care about the top speed but for a faster take off (nothing crazy) because I will be traveling this summer,do I add a tooth or lose a tooth? also on there web site they dont sell a front sprocket,do I need to change this also? and finally would I need to change the chain length...Thanks for any info! .....mike

Ask BABUSA... I believe he is +3 in the rear on his '08.

I did the +3 rear on my gen 1, and it is by far the best bang for the buck mod I've done. I'm not a big fan of -1 in the front as it has to put more strain on the chain (tighter turn).
As far as chain length goes...again, check with BA.. I know on my bike, you can go to +3 rear without getting a longer chain.. +4, you've gotta add links.

Hope that helps!

You need to ADD to the rear sprocket...don't bother with just +1...you won't notice much difference. I'm running +4, stock gearing is 18 front and 43 rear...so my rear is a 47

I would recommend a 46, it will fit with your stock chain and it's hella fun...@75 mph you will be turning approximately 300 more rpm in 6th gear than the stock gearing. You need at least a 45, but like I said...try the 46 :beerchug:

530 pitch is what you need...as long as your chain and front sprocket are in good shape...just change the rear. ***Also it MUST be for a '08-'09 Hayabusa***...the Gen1 Hayabusa '99-'07 uses different sprockets.

Nice advice...thank you...learned something new today!

Been a while since I posted, kind of busy with life, kids are very active demanding all my time. Good thing is spring is just around the corner and I need to ride.

BA Hows things done in Cali? I see they moved the GP race up to the 4th of July, that totally sucks!

Frisbee you still working at QX? Have not seen your bike there for some time, but a newer busa is parked in the lot all the time, wonder who that is?

Good to see the gang is still all here.

Yeah having the race on a holiday weekend ??? We'll see how that works :banghead:

Don't be such a stranger :poke:

Happy Almost Spring everyone. The sun was out today for a while, and it was nice! It made me miss my bikes even more. They were sitting in the garage taunting me. :banghead:

hey BA BUSA sorry man I have another question for you...I got my supersprox with the 46 tooth for my K8... and now I'm looking to get the ek zzz ...do I get the o-ring or quadra-x ring? im assuming I should get the 120 pin chain? Thanks again for your help!

Stock chain is about 112 so yes on the 120 pin and go with the quadra x ring or the ZZZ by EK . I have the ZVX qqaudra and have only adjusted my chian twice in 10,000 . Way better than stock !! And going down on in the front is great , its the equvilant to 3 1/2 up in the rear and alot cheaper . I have a 17/43 combo and it rocks . I wouldn't go that much on a stock lenth bike though unless you really like wheelies .

Manatrader , I still work at the QX but I haven't been riding this winter . The wife got a new car so I drive the SUV to the park and ride and ride the bus . I haven't seen the new busa there . We need to hook up sometime soon . My buddy is doing an interview with you guys , I might check into trying to go to the port later on too should I talk to you about it ?
