members here were asking about the pair valve removal and i didn’t want to thread hack so i just made another thread with some pics. the 1st pic shows the plates installed and the blue/green simulator plugged in. the 2nd one has the parts removed minus 2 bolts that hold plate. the last pic shows the kit i used.

I've been happy with mine removed. It's very rare that I ever get a pop out of my exhaust even with it gone. I used a chair leg end cap to block my air box. It fit perfectly.

some people now tune their engine to pop/bang on purpose, smh… to me it’s one of the current dumbest “mods “ on a car/bike.

Might be a 2 step you are hearing. They n/a vehicles?
2 steps and anti lag tunes have purpose and definitely not what im referring to. pops, bangs, crackle tunes are not that. they dump extra fuel so you get fuel ignition in the exhaust pipes. the same clowns will also add a “ghost cam” tune… make your car sound like it has a lopey cam but you actually dont.

I don't think I'd tune the bike to pop but if it does it already, that's cool with me. My old ZX-14 popped like crazy with the aftermarket exhaust. It was obnoxious with the PAIR but after I blocked it, I actually liked the sound. If it's at zero throttle, I don't have a problem with a pop or two. My busa only does it when I'm riding hard and the weather is hot.
