I have a Brock's megaphone with PCIII. No issues. I change between 3 maps and OEM/PiperX filter depending on my ride style for that day. No issues.I have the PCIII USB, the 3 guys that work at the bike shop by my house all have thier bikes tuned using the Yosh box. Why, they say that Hayabusa's always have problems with the Power Comander, but almost everybody on the board has them, with no complaints ? One guy just got a Brocks Megaphone put on his bike, with a PCIII USB, and he said that everytime he got over 150 mph his bike would just shut off.
When I got my pipe put on in the spring I asked the same question, because of what they were saying, and what people here told me (if I remember correctly) the PCIII can make a/f changes every so many rpm, and it's way more than the Yosh box. (try a search on Yosh Box, maybey that post will come up ?) I would post this up in General, you'll get a lot of anwers there !! From people that know thier s@#t.
Upgrade fuel systemyosh box suxs period
it was fine back in 1998 but last I checked it was 2007
a pc3 will help but unless you upgrade a fuel system the 02-07 will never satify a 1397 to max performance
What did I tell you about Steve....a walking book of knowledge.....Basically,the yosh box and the pc3 accomplish the same thing(adjusting fuel),as well as many other fuel controllers.I preffer the PC3 usb.It has faster processing, direct injector control, can tune in 250rpm increments,Has a expansion port that a multitude of acessories can plug into, but dynojets pc3usb best feature is that it is made to work with dynojets Tuning Link software that Approved Dynojet Tuning Centers Have in their dyno computer. This is the quickest most accurate way to create a complete map for a bike.I purchased our dynojet dyno for this specific reason. If you have more questions, check out www.dynojet.com or you can call our shop or email me (website in my sig at bottom) and I can help you with any questions.
I can tell you that most problems I have seen with any PC3 usb have been user error,or hooking the ground wire to the battery positive(improper install). We have sold hundreds of them with zero problems
