Performance boost

How much then in your dreams then Wuzza? We were consistently getting 20 with our gen1. I don't know about gen3. I guess I assumed on the gen3 also.

The most gain I ever heard from a pipe only mod on a Gen1 was 7. Most for between 3-7 hp increase. I forgot the brand of the highest hp exhaust.

Ha, yeah I saw it but it won’t affect his dyno numbers. Tank bags or seat bags are still unavailable there eh? :D
No both seat bags and tank bags are available here, the gen3 however the rear half tank cover is plastic therefore magnetic bags wont work , beside I prefer the pack

Well. . . I’ll have to be way more careful what I say around you Mike.
Sounds like you’re a bit sensitive around the ‘dual named nation’ we have here in NZ.
You know, being ‘Māori language week’ and all

C’mon man.. lighten up a little!
Whatever. You lay off the sarcasm emoji I'm.not sensitive dude jud wont follow any anti Democratic process, nobody overseas wants to see this crap

Generous dyno? Or just someone who actually knows what he's doing
As we know, dynos are just a guide and there are so many different variables to really make them a gospel figure.....

What is important is the bike did indeed respond well to modifications regardless of what the number is on the sheet..

Some dynos are generous while others aren't....

We've all seen the Suzuki dyno numbers where they test all their products be debunked by a random dyno at a shop somewhere.

In saying that, I'd trust the Suzuki numbers before I'd trust any one else's.......I'd imagine Suzuki calibrates their dyno regularly

well, the dyno said whatever HP BEFORE 4 in 1 and about 20hp after an expensive professional tune, of course, $275 back in 03, that was a lot. Unless the boy was lying to us! I do know one thing, it FELT much stronger that is a fact. The guy that ran that shop boasting 20HP gains was making a killing by saying yeah hey hey, you buy this and put it on and 20HP gain. Maybe he was lying.

Maybe he was. Might have been good for business. Ages ago I had a Suzuki twin carb shaft drive 1,400cc V twin with a four speed trans and twin megaphone style cans. Very quiet, very restrictive as was the airbox. I removed the air box and installed pod filters, had the pipes completely gutted and had a Pro dyno tune with carb jetting, blueprinting the carbs as they say from the Wheelsmith speed shop in San Rafael CA. and I didn’t get quite a 20 hp increase but I did get a huge torque increase. Turned out to be a real Harley killer.

Maybe someone could explain why there’s an obvious issue with using the Māori name for NZ among some of the citizens of New Zealand. Does it have to do with a possible name change for the country?

Because, the government pushed it on to tpeople without giving us the right to vote. Aotearoa is not the official name for this country depending on which tribe you ask , I'm from the ngati awa tribe( bay of plenty, Nelson bays) , Aotearoa is the name for a region of this country, many say Nui Tireni is the actual name, besides, what right do Maori have to push names when they themselves arrived here, and as my old Maori history teacher ( 1970) stated , we are not the first people here, Moriori where here before us, we just wiped them out. Besides both media circus ( TV1/3) ran polls 59% wanted the status quo, only 9% stated Aotearoa, minority ruled , as pushed by Jacinda Adhern ( labour). She created this division, then ran away .

I grew up on Marae's and my dad is on the Waitangi tribunal and I had not heard this before, except the Moriori's sad story and the fact the Mz Ardern is now a prisoner of her security detail due to her crimes against NZ culture and society, fascinating @Mike Chambers. @Kiwi Rider's a heck of a good man BTW, just a bump in the bar, nothing a beer on the next South Island stoop wont fix if not already forgotten.. Will be following suit with Brett soon, should be interesting.

You are so correct regarding Adern now hated by so many New Zealanders for the division she caused in our great Nation.
Yes, she (Adern) definitely is a prisoner of her security people and getting international recognition and top level appointments was always gonna be part of the deal for following orders and doing the dirty work for her bosses in the UN, WEF, and WHO during the Covid scamdemic. . and all the other marxist leftist crap she ushered in to NZ.
I have no problem with Mike, I thought he he over reacted to my use of a common term but I guess that's because he lives amongst the racially dividing groups up in the North Island and I live in a small rural community with virtually no Maori at all, and it's easy to be isolated from the racial division . . . especially since I stopped looking at local media and make a point of NEVER watching the TV stations here in NZ.
The South Island is a different kettle of fish and it's easy to forget the garbage politics and just live in serenity with peace and no division.
I would never live anywhere other than NZ, for all it's faults and factions, it's the best of a bad bunch of places to be.

I'm totally with you on all that you said there Mike, never hear of Nui Tereni though.
found this abut it though . .

"Nui Tireni is a region in New Zealand that is referenced in the Declaration of Independence of the United Tribes of New Zealand, also known as He Whakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Tireni. The document states that the region of Nu Tireni is not the entirety of New Zealand, but rather the area north of Hauraki.

The Declaration of Independence is a significant constitutional document in New Zealand's history and culture. It was signed by 34 rangatira at a meeting in Waitangi on October 28, 1835. The document asserted that New Zealand was independent, and that the tribes and hereditary chiefs held all sovereign power and authority. Britain recognized the declaration and sent it to King William IV. By 1839, 52 Māori chiefs had signed the declaration.

In 1840, New Zealand became part of the British colony of New South Wales after the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. "

Any comment?
