pick me a color

White with a pearl color to accent other items is nice. As red wheels red pearl.

Really a lot of options. You could buy some white and start sparaying diff pearl and flake to get what you want. Like aforementioned. More coats more effect.

that ice white is about as bright a white as i've seen. i'm gonna try and find somewhere around here that will paint me a sample so i can see the color.

Here are some bright whites. 2005 Kia polar white 91700 plain white. 2005 saab 91525 pure white its got some pearle in it. If you want a bright plain white 2005 Kia polar white 91700 is your color.

If you are the person painting the parts another way to make a pearl or candy coat easier / more controlable is to over reduce the paint. Most of the intermix refinish paints say to reduce it a specific way...that is to meet epa voc laws...the bad stuff going into the atmosphere. If you are shooting color or an interferance coat overreducing will give you a smoother finish. In the case of a pearl or candy you have the advantage of reducing the concentration of the pigment...so you have to put on more coats but if you make an error it is less likley to look striped or really dark in one area.

You can't really over reduce primers or clear coats to much because they have a cataylst that should be a specific ratio, but a little extra solvent will smooth out primer.

Stay away from the low end materials they really are cheaper raw materials...on the bike with the flexing of the plastics and risks of chips you should get the best you can afford at the time.

2005 Kia polar white 91700, Plain White. If you want a pearle in it use HOC ice white. Clears use PPG 4010, Or 4125, Transtar 7021. Then put you shades on in the sun light. Its White.

I like the new off white pearl I keep seeing here in pics on the 2010.
