I've got a mild 355 with a 700R4 trans and a 12bolt factory rear with an Auburn posi unit. Still working out the bugs.

That is a hell of a combo. Great stance, I have a weakness for orange too. My old '67 malibu was orange but that is long gone. Now I drive a little azz ford fiesta that is metallic burnt orange with blue metallic rally stripes and anthrazite alloy wheels. It looks neat and is good on gas.

well......this post made me finally put the push on to find myself a nice c10. I was torn between this and a nice Rat rod. I want one to use not to show. Mine will be old school primered black with chrome dished wheels.


In all honesty, these trucks make a lot more sense to restore and use than buy a newer one.
