Busafied, I saw your glock set up on another post and have a quick question.

Are the sights the "Ameriglow" brand and how do you like them? I have been considering going with the ghost ring rear but don't know anybody that uses that setup. It seems like they may provide quicker target acquisition than the standard setup. What do you think?

Thanks for the info, Chris

FWIW, I've shot ghosts rings on a G17 and didn't like them at all. Makes the sight picture even more crowded, at least for me. You're basically looking through a hole the size of a pencil eraser at arms length...then filling the hole with the front sight and trying to find your target. Lot better systems out there for the cash.

Thanks Monty, that's what I was afraid of. I have ghost rings on some of my rifles which arn't too bad. But moving the sight picture out a few feet I figured would be very difficult. THanks for the input. Chris

For purpose they are everything I need on my G22, oh did I mention the rail mounted laser too? ;-)

If your shooting competition, as stated, their are other setups, that may be better suited to "Your" prefferences.

Here's a setup I have been contemplating purchasing, just too many irons in the fire right now...

Like the acog on my AR, these are nice..

No worries bro, I too like them on rifles like my AR and they work great in that application. Was really bummed shooting them on the glock...just didn't work out for me. Some people dig em and that's cool...whatever works for you. Depends a lot on what you're looking for in a sight. Good overall performance or up close CQB type stuff. For good overall I'd go with Heinie straight eights but for up close gunfighting I'd be all over some ashley express big dots.

Good luck with your decision.

Monty
