Mike Slowe is a cool dude. Lives pretty close and races at the local tracks. I wouldn't race him with my Busa even if he was on a 600! He is that good.

Im sure if you take all the mods they have in those busa it would not be hard at all to figure 35-40G's both of them are extremely high tech machines. Almost every facet of performance can be tuned on either bike via computer. Not to mention the mechanical work and parts they must have invested in those powerplants to be pumping out 500+ hp and not having to constantly rebuild the motors is pretty impressive i'd say. Sure you could build a bike that makes similar HP with less than 20G's figuring the 10k purchase price for a total of 30G. But could you race it competitivly and remain consistant over time without major retooling? Also it didn't mention if they had bore kits, i'm sure they probably do either way still incredible for 60" bikes.

I THINK THEY WANT THE DISPUTES AND ARGUMENTS ON THE SHOW ,IT MAKES IT MORE INTRESTING TO WATCH, YOU SHOULD SEE THE ARGUMENTS AT THE  ROCK IN THE AFTER DARK  SESSIONS ,IT'S FOR BIG $.YOU CAN SEE SOME PIC'S ON THE WEB. YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE THE BIKES COME INTO THE STAGING LANES FOR PEOPLE ON THE TRACK, THERES PEOPLE EVEN IN THE BURNOUT BOX. BUT WHAT A SIGHT TOO SEE!!!

The 1000 is sitting in a bike shop in Dale City or Springfield, VA. GMbusa and I saw it when we were looking around the night before the DC bike show.
